Always sad when this happens, i think it's a subject most people can relate to, except perhaps the very young.

Your rhythm changes a few times in the poem making it kind of choppy...and you change the rhyme scheme in the middle of a stanza which just sorta cuts everything off...I liked it but it could be improved a little to flow better...great job though keep it up!

Hey there, excellent poem, you are really talented. I can also relate to this, I had a friend for six years until highschool, then he fell into the "Popular" crowd and stopped talking to me. O well, what can u do. Take care.

this is very good... it reminds me, like so many other teenage girls poems, of this book i read about female teenage adolesence... its called Reviving Ophelia.. its a real good book, it talks about why girls are so depressed and dependent and, basically, why they are the way they are... now of course there are exceptions but its a good book to read... should you ever want to , let me know and i can get the author for you....

i really can relate to this poem! i waz in the same situation wit one of my guy friends who i have known since i waz 6! i am now 15! but....he has changed alot! and he did the same thing to me that ur friend did 2 u!! it sucks! believe me i know!!but...really good poem! keep up the good work!

This is a really great poem! This happened to me with my best friend this year. We were so close that people would get our names mixed up, except all of a sudden some new popular girls came and she ditched me:S i dont feel any resentment now because i know that i will find a new best friend... someone that will never leave me. And just remember that all things happen for a reason. One day when you're walking down the grocery store or the street, you may see him, and you'll say :"oh hello, how are you? i havent talked to you since school. how's ur life going?" and you may be surprised at his response, but he'll be more surprised at what an amazing person you've become. So just keep ur head high and remember : what goes around comes around.
