War Families

A battle with agony, tears, and pain,
Soldiers collapsing in the pouring rain.

Some are crying,
Familie's got the news,
Other's are still fighting,
Despite all the blues.

Parents and loved ones,
Praying their loved ones a safe return,
Others sit crying, their eyes burn.

Some little children understand,
Others have no clue,
Girlfriends,boyfriends, husbands, and wives Can't wait till this is through.

Flags and Candles,
Pictures of the lost,
Wars long and brutal,
Look at the lives it has cost.

Sitting here only thinking about it,
Makes me want to cry,
For all those heroes that bravely died.

It'll be ok though,
Loved ones still mourn,
War families,
Broken and torn.

This is about the war on terrorism.
