A Vampire's True Love

by Nikki Pixie   Jun 27, 2005

She longs to please her beautiful lover,
He tries to unveil and uncover;
Her pain and sorrows,
Only lead to tearful tomorrows.

Her long lost joys,
Always treated them like toys;
Never thought anything of it,
Until that searing slit.

Only one broken heart,
That alone tore her apart;
Never thought it could sting,
It felt like a hard swing.

That turned her to hate,
Turned her to bait;
Left herself in the rain,
Never could one be so un-vain.

She danced and she dreamed,
Her life had turned around, had it seemed;
Until that dying day,
Over and over may it play.

It plays in her head,
She cries in her bed;
Every night, wanting to scream and to fight,
She says she’ll do anything to get out of this plight.

He tells her she is to be his,
Forever only his;
She is to obey,
By his side she shall lay.

She stands by his side,
Only to be his beautiful blushing bride;
She smiles and gleams,
Trying to be perfect it seems.

He treats her well,
Never to tell;
His secret is safe,
Ever since he was a waif.

He sleeps by day,
Only smiles in the gray;
His wife will smile,
As she walks down the aisle.

He screams and he pouts,
She cries and she shouts;
She runs away,
On one bright and glorious day.

He finds her and takes her,
Only to transfer;
After she takes a spade,
And uses it as a blade.

She spills her blood,
Falls face down in the mud;
He leaves her there,
Thinking she never did care.

He mourns and he mopes,
For all of his lost hopes;
Of being with his love,
The one that looked like a dove.

    Because maybe I have a reason to. They're not mean. They're the truth and you wouldn't understand even if I told you why I said what I said.
