3rd line: "I hummed allowed to my self a little tune"
should be: I hummed ALOUD to myself a little tune

11th line:"But I was a fool I was indeed for a star was not of which I wished upon"
that line is way too long, break it into two lines so it flows better.
and the line its self does not sound right, change it to like:
:But I was a fool I was indeed
for a star was not what I wished upon"

last 2 lines:
"for in the morning
I woke to be dead"
i think you should take that part out, it just doesnt fit in with the poem, it has nothing to do with it.
