True Love

by undying blusher   Jun 27, 2005

He looks at her
Not with lust
Not with impurity
He looks at her
In a way
That you can tell
He appreciates her beauty
Her true beauty
Her true self
And there’s no need
For her or him either to pretend
To deceive, to lie, to hide
They’re comfortable
Yet life is still exciting
With each other
Would die for one another
And do you know what this means?
This wondrous thing they possess
I call it love…true love, that is
If you find it
Consider yourself blessed

Wonderful poem. I was impressed with how you made it very clear that everything stated in this poem was very pure and innocent. Keep it up!
