To you i say goodbye

by nakita   Jun 27, 2005

Strings of words leave mouths unknown,
Empty murmurs of nothing entering one's ears.
Hushed words of sorry spill meaninglessly unto nothing,
The air now thick with the sound of lies.
Forgiveness longing to be given,
But shall not be wasted on one's own fault,
Remains kept inside, shattered by one's secrets.
Emotions buuble but never cease,
Reason never taking place.
Just friends is what is wanted,
Dreaded,
And reality.
Letting go easy, hanging on hard,
As tears sway gently beneath the surface.
My stomache churns with defeat,
And the knowledge that things will never change,
So to you i say goodbye,
Im sorry,
I love you
