Or see ya as in until next time.

You may say the same reply back to me.
But you never mean it the way I do.
If only you still loved me.
And if only you still cared.
But friendship, that's all I'll ever get from you now.
But you and me? Will never have another chance to be a we.
So I guess I'll always say see ya,
And I guess you'll always misinterpret it.
If friendship is all that I can get,
I guess I'll just have to settle for it.
