Calm seas,
So many,
Missed opportunities,

The world dying,
And now,
People are crying,

If only we knew,
But didn't blame our surroundings,
It was our fault too,

Wars, but not only with the world,
With ourselves too,
Dreams gone, now curled,

Waiting to be unravelled,
When peace begins,
But look how far we travelled,

What a shame we can't appreciate,
But I guess now,
It's a little bit too late.
