Rose

I planted it,
In my back garden,
Waited for it to flourish,
But it didn't,

Not enough care,
Not enough love,
So I got another seed,
And planted another one,

I gave it water,
And it sprung to life,
Soon,
It was alright,

It began to flourish,
It began to bloom,
My rose I planted,
And gave to you.
