This is from another one of those poetry games 6-25-05.
There once was a day
When I went to school
I had these horrible hiccups
And didn't know what to do
So I tried water
And it went up my nose
I still had the hiccups
Let me tell you that blows
Then I held my breath
And counted to ten
When that didn't work
I tried it again
I did the head down
Between the knees
The enbaresment
Did more than
Made me displeased
I did the paper bag trick
And had no luck
I guess you all know by now
I was stuck with my hiccups
