A Letter To Someone You Love

We were never really had that long together,
There were never really a lot of times where i sat in your arms.
But when we were together my world was complete.
We laughed, we cried and we said our goodbyes.
Not a day goes by where i don't dream of your smile.
From the day you came into my life,
'Till the day you left my life,
They were the best days of my life.
But in these days there was a lot of pain,
And i sit here and wonder what I could have done that would make you want to leave.
You say I changed you for the better,
And that you need your space to make the right decisions.
I remember when you wanted me back,
And you said that it was too late to see that i genuinely loved you,
And that you are a fool for doing what you have done,
And that you were too blind to see that love was right in front of you all along.
But they are all just words,
But the words you said that really stuck with me,
Were the ones how you said that you went through emotional pain over what happened,
That means you had to have loved me.
I still believe that true love conquers all,
And that true love is everlasting.
