Why is it so hard for me to say goodbye?
What about all the times that you made me cry?
It seems as though you just don't care!
Why were you never there?
I needed you and the love you promised me
But you took it all back that's now what I see!
I loved you with my heart and soul
Now everything inside has turned freezing cold
I wish I could just let you go
Why I can't, I'll never know
I keep thinking that maybe it's not true
That maybe you're not being you
I guess I need to realize
That these tears that fall from my eyes
They are a joke to you and your friends
And nothing I say will change that in the end.
I'll wipe my tears
Say goodbye to the years
I'll do whatever it takes
I won't even be fake
No use in smiling
When your heart is crying
No use in letting you know
I should just let you go
