Her

by vicky   Jun 28, 2005

A smile played on her lips
she was always prepared to laugh
not wanting to be left out
she always hugged you and smiled
at parties she always complimented people
and it annoyed me
she would be happy one minute
and sad the next
depending
on how everyone else felt
she tried to blend in
no-one understood her
she would bottle everything up
you thought she was on top of the world when she really wasn't
you could think she hated evryone
when in truth her heart was filled with love
i would sometimes look at her and turn away in disgust
i would sometimes take one of her hands in mine
and want to kill her
she still keeps quiet
hiding under a mask
but i know who she really is
because
i look in the mirror and i see her staring back at me

Oh hun! This is beautifully written but it's upsetting that you feel this way! It doesn't have to like that!
