A Secret Love

by Sapphire   Jun 28, 2005

I know this is long, but its a good story so pleez read!

There was once a girl named Carmen,
and she was married to a very nice guy,
He was always on business trips and left her all alone.

Carmen got bored easily,
and lost interest in her husband,
She was decent looking, hardly,
and wanted to be with a guy again.

So went to this club called Sparkle,
and met a guy named Peter,
He gave her his hand,
and said I will always be yours,
and they started dancing to the band.

Behind her husbands back,
she saw this man,
and she had the time of her life,
but one day this guy asked for her hand,
in marriage but she said i can't I'm already married.

This scared the guy,
he never knew that,
But he didn't care,
He said that He will never have to know of us being together.
I want to spend the rest of my life with you.

And with those words Carmen fell in love,
All over again,
but instead of it being her husband it was another man.

A whole year went by,
of this two together,
and lieing to Carmen's husband,
of sneaking off in the middle of the night,
to sleep with the other,
and days together when he was on business.

One day,
Carmen's husband came home early,
and found the two together in bed,
Carmen ran to him,
with a sheet covering her,
and apologized.

He told her my life is over,
my one true love has cheated on me,
And he left the house.

The next day Carmen woke up to find her husband lieing next to her in bed,
Stabbed.
She started crying and called the ambulence,
but nothing could be done for him.

Carmen was blamed for the death,
of her her husband,
and was sent to jail,
for man slaughter.
She would have to spend 10-15 years staring at that gray wall.

Carmen sat there and wonder,
Was it worth it?
To lose my first love?
All for some other man?

Carmen regretted cheating on him with all her heart,
and prayed to God every night,
praying for him to take her away.

One day one of the police men,
came to set her free,
they found evidence now that it was suicide,
But they found her with her sheet wrapped around her neck,
and the sheet hanging from the ceiling.

A note she left on her bed said,
"Always think about what you do,
for when you do it you can lose some of the most precious people in your life. I have lost mine, and I have lost myself."
