The abuse

Walking all alone and scared
Feeling stupid for thinking you cared
You said you loved her
But now it was clear and she can see

I see that you never wanted to be here
I see that she shouldn't have to live in fear
Every hit was the show of how you felt?
Every punch and every slap of the belt

She loved you so she stayed
Now I see the monster that she made
Letting you beat her and get away with it
Not saying anything
Just taking the hit

Forcing her to do what she was told
Yelling at her with every scold
You would hear her cry in the night
After every time you would fight
She tried to hide her bruise
She couldn't take this abuse

You called it your gentle love
You told Her she was your angel from above
She listen to your lies
Well now I realize
It's not your love , it's your control
It's the innocents you stole

So stupid for staying
So stupid for for the abuse she was taking
Well now she is gone and you are alone
I just wish she would have know....
