In my heart

I can remember the day i met you,
I thought you were OK,
I was warned off of you,
told to stay away.

But i found you easy to talk to,
just like you did me,
then gradually over time,
we learnt to trust each other completely.

People try to pull us apart,
say our friendship is wrong,
but my heart tells me,
in your arms i belong.

Yes we've had our arguments,
We sit and shout it out,
But buy the end we're always wondering,
What it was all about.

I treasure every moment we are together,
dread every minute we're apart,
but you know when i think of you,
i hug you in my heart.
