Reverse psychology...

My death - glowing saviour,
Existence - cruel fiend,
Nobody can save me,
From these dying dreams,
Too much, far too quickly,
Too little to mention,
Dark dreams overcome me,
My minds sole intention,
A light through this blackness,
A yearning for more,
It beckons me closer,
I knock on death's door,
Opens but a crack,
Twisted lips form my name,
A claw grasps my wrist,
I feel blood fill my veins.

This all happened backwards,
Why am I alive?
I've been dead all along,
Trapped in fates cruel demise.
