The difference between you and me

by MissEasilyAmused   Jun 29, 2005

I’m fat.
I’m short.
I’m a redhead.

I’m no model, and I never will be.
For I will never dedicate my life to something so incredibly vain.
So interested in my own looks,
I would never want to be one of those people that says you have to be a certain way.
Girls cloud their faces with make-up and go bulimic or anorexic just to look like you,
And of course, it still will never be good enough.
They completely change themselves to fit what you say is hot, what you say is beautiful.

I’m fat, you’re skinny.
I’m short, you’re average.
I’m a redhead, you’re a brunette.
You’re beautiful, but so am I.
Everyone has their special beauty,
So why should I change to fit your standards
When you won’t change yourself for mine?

Again. The feelings you put in for this poem is the same here. I know I hate to change for people cause its not like either of us could grow another half a foot to be the same highth as perfectionant people.
    And again
    Love the poems
    Keep it up
