When my dad told me he was having a new child
Bad thoughts went threw my mind as I just smile
See I wasn't exactly excited
Even though my dad and step mom were delighted
Once the baby was born
I thought my relationship with my dad would be torn
I remember changing the diaper
while my step mom would be screaming wipe her wipe her
I wasn't good at this
but everything changed once the baby gave me a kiss
Hearing her learn my name
It was like nothing was the same
Having her fall asleep in my arms
Felt like my life was turned into peace with no harm
when she fell off the bead for the first time
I got so paranoid i almost lost my mind
I didn't think i could be so close to my sister
But now when I go with my mom i miss her
My heart has grown
and the kind and sweet in me has shown
