I went to camp this summer,
When I saw you I wasn’t prepared.
I thought you had other things to do.
But I’m so glad you could make it there.
You were there when I was feeling down

I was shy and soft-spoken
You helped me grow throughout the days.
I know that God brought us together

Every summer we meet, then part again
But you’re on my mind the whole year
I know our lives are very different
But in your arms I have nothing to fear.
It was the best month of my life,
Being with you, seeing your face
The only thing I regret
