Rag Doll (for others like me)

Does any one no what I mean by a rag doll...?

This time I'm not a fairy,
Nor a nasty little elf,
For I am a rag doll,
Who sits upon your shelf.

I hide behind your toy box,
You leave me on your bed,
From the outside I look happy,
On the inside I feel dead.

My eyes are made of glass,
They glimmer all day long,
My mouth stretched to look happy
But my smile is very wrong.

My hair tied in two plates,
My arms hang by my side,
My hips pushed back as I'm forced to sit
To disable me to hide.

The only way I really move
Is when you carry me,
So pick me up and don't let go,
Make me feel happy.

My cheeks they glow a rosy red
My button nose so sweet,
My clothes look neat and tidy,
I wear black shoes on my feet.

I am a pointless, lifeless thing,
Inside I have no heart,
I have no blood nor a brain to use
I've been unhappy from the start.

I was this one girls true best friend,
She would hold me tight, not let me go,
But now she's seen I am not real
And me she does not wish to no.

My legs are limp, my head does hang,
I sit here feeling low,
However still my smile is permanently there,
For never will it go.

Now as I look down at my arms
I see my skin is torn,
My dress is ripped and will not mend,
Over my loss no-one will mourn.

My smile is now fading,
My sadness is released,
This rag doll can live no more
For her happiness has been ceased.

The rag doll that I still am
Is now on the scrap heap,
No-one's there to comfort me,
Or wipe my tears when I weep.

But really I'm not a rag doll,
Not brand old and not brand new,
And when you take a look at me

You'll see I'm a mirror image of you.
