There once was a child that needed love and care
So she started telling lies that stuck with her threw her life.
"A wolf" She cries
But a wolf she never sees
Yet people come to console her memories.
A fib that once was harmless
Has grown so big she now believes it herself.
wrapped up in trust she doesn't deserve.
lies she keeps spinning all from her head.
the guilt starting to way her down like lead.
But when she starts fresh she tells herself no
But at the first sign of neglect the same lies grows.
"A wolf" she cries once again
But a wolf she still doesn't see
But still people come to console a fake memory
Love and affection she holds in her hands
But in order to keep it the lie rears its ugly head.
And off she goes spinning a world of horrors around herself
"A wolf" She cries
But a wolf she does not see
And suddenly the truth seems a distant memory.
