Friends 'till the end

Friends 'till the end,
Or so we thought.
We were almost the same.
Except for the clothes we bought.

We were inseparable for almost 3 years.
We were there for each other.
You caught all my tears.

We had our fights,
But found our way together in the end.
Smiling, laughing, fighting and crying.
Through all this, you were my friend.

We both fell in love
In the 7th grade.
It all started to fall apart,
The friendship we had made.

I fought to stay with you.
The more I tried the farther you went.
You started to ignore me,
For your so called "Heaven Sent".

I was so lost,
I didn't know what to do.
My life was useless,
Without that love from you.

You just suddenly changed.
Some said you hated me.
Everything was gone between us.
And I didn't leave it be.

I tried to get it back.
You were the most important thing I had.
And picking him over me,
That made me so mad.

I guess i should prob'ly get to the point
I'm only saying this once to you.
I love you with all my heart.
But I can't take it anymore, we're through.

Don't pretend to be sad,
'Cause I know for a fact you're not.
I guess nothing lasts forever.
I'm going to miss you a lot.

After you read this poem,
I'll be gone, there's no way to fight.
I just wanted to say my goodbye.
I love you and goodnight.
