I wish there was some way,
I could tell you how much,
It meant to me,
That you lightened my day,
Gave me back some feeling,
Soothed the numb me,
Made me feel like I used to be,
And I don't know what to say,
Because the happiness,
Left me reeling,
And I was set free,
If only for today,
I can't begin to describe,
What was going through my head,
I wish you could see,
What made me that way,
But it was that good vibe,
That left my pain dead,
Something only hours ago,
I was trying to flee,
And trying to get in the fray,
With all that heavy lead,
You gave my blood some flow,
With happy pills for free,
And all the right things to say,
I'm so grateful,
Will never forget,
The day for a few hours,
Everything was less hateful,
And I was fighting the debt,
For there was a lull,
And I thank you(you know who you are),
For I'll always be thankful.
