Despite The Risk

We can't blame each other for our friendship that faded away, for we knew from the start in never promised to stay.

Our friendship was different when life got us high, and sometimes its forever and sometimes its goodbye.

We loved each other like sisters and for that we would never lose, no matter what path life may have forced us to choose.

We could only give what we had to give and it wasn't enough, so we will continue to live.

We will get deeper with every breath, we will edge farther with with every step

and we will throw our hearts into life and never stall, for the greatest risk is to risk nothing at all

and though our lives were torn in different directions we will always remember each other in shattered reflections.
