Night brings out the best in you
It makes things feel unreal
Its easier to open up
And just rely on feel.

And easy to forgive you
Cause its too dark to see your lies
To conveniently forget
I’m the only one that tries.

To give in to that feeling
That comes every time you hold me
That turns around and breaks me down
Every time you leave me lonely.

Its night that makes your kisses sweet
And makes me miss your touch
We were made to be together
Even though it hurts so much.

But then must come the morning
And along with it regret
That I wasn’t really strong enough
That I let myself forget.

That I was willing to give in
To little more then drunken words
That soon I’ll have to piece together
My heart’s tiny broken sherds.
