Good-bye to you, depression

by Emma   Jul 1, 2005

Good-bye to you, depression
You drove me insane..
You made me want to die
And filled me with pain

Good-bye to you, depression
I threw away the blades
The ones that scared me
From the cuts you made

Good-bye to you, depression
I wont miss you very much
I would cry my self to sleep
Because of your razor blade touch

Good-bye to you, depression
I’m glad that you’re going
The things that you did
Are hard to keep from showing

Good-bye to you, depression
You were once a friend of mine
But you can take your knifes and razors,
Your no longer a friend I wish to find

Good-bye to you depression
And the poems I made
The ones about suicide
Are the ones that will not stay

Good-bye to you, depression
Keep your bad ideas away from me
For the thoughts that you have
Are ones I don’t want to see

Good-bye to you, depression
This is your fare well
You better not bother me again
Because my mind doesn’t want you to dwell
