All Alone

I'm all alone
lying in the dark
emotions washing over me
each leaving its own mark
As tears slide down my face
I cry in silent pain
no one can hear my sobs
over the pounding of the rain
I never get to see the boy,
the one I truly love
my tears are falling for him
just like the rain above
I want him to hold me in his arms
and tell me it will be OK
he's the only one who knows
exactly what to say
hes the one who makes me smile
when my day didn't go so great
I'll just lay here in the dark,
alone in the hands of fate

I don't know how I'll make it
through this lonely night
Oh God, without that boy
I will never be alright
We haven't broken up
but we are also never near
being without his love
is my greatest fear

I clutch my pillow to my chest
pretending it's his warm embrace
imagining is my only hope,
my final saving grace
tears stream down my cheeks,
my hair is soaked with sorrow
the alarm clock shows its 3 AM
and that today is now tomorrow

I'm all alone
the shadows hide me as I weep
outside the rain falls steadily
as I cry myself to sleep

* this one was also written in the middle od another sleepless night. If you get a chance to comment that would be great. also can someone please help me and tell me if a guy is worth this kind of pain? thanks much everyone. hugs and kisses *

    Sometimes it is good to feel the pains of love as pain always purifies the soul. it cleanses one of the evils that one harbors in the mind. but know onething, no one is indispensable in this world.. u lose some one maybe it was destiny for you to find some one far better. but i guess i am here to comment on the poem, which i must say i liked it a lot, but u r a young girl write about the wonder that is life. Go ahead and see "Its a wonderful life", (if you have not seen it b4 talking bout the movie). newayz keep going.. love.. J

    I would say no, a guy is NOT worth the pain, but sadly I'm going through it too =0( *tear* talk to me if you ever need a friend to listen......Another great poem, very emtional and deep....You have talent in writing!!!
