Waiting

by Lydie   Jul 2, 2005

Falling endlessly,
Into a pit of darkness, to a place,
Where there are only things lost,
Nothing ever being found,

Time passing,
Ticking by slowly,
But it seems the end,
Is to far away,

So I'll have to wait,

Wait endlessly,
Until time passes,
Passes by,
Passes through,

I'm waiting until it passes me,
It might be a while,
But it'll be worth the wait,
I dont' mind waiting,

But to pass the time,
I'll think,
Think about my past,
And what I have done,

I'll think about my present,
What's happening now,
I'll think about the future,
What lies ahead,

In the dark,
Waiting to be seen,
Waiting to be found,
But because of where I am,

It can't be found,

My future never known,
Unless I go back,
But I don't know where that it,
Plus I like it here,

Not quite heaven,
Not quite hell,
A place with just emptyness,
A place I have found.

Another very unique poem. I don't care for this one as much as the other one I critiqued but I have to say it was still good. One thing you may want to look at is the different forms of 2. There's the number two, too as in also, and to as in "I went to the store".

    Just so ya know. ;)

    So I'll have to wait......
That one line in itself conveys more emotion than most people could with an entire thesis. Incredible piece of work.
