Love Today, Not Tomorrow

It's funny how so quickly life
Can get snatched away
How people you love can pass
While others get to stay

The phone rings and you hear
A loved one may die
And you sit there in shock
You can't breathe but you cry

And as you sob all you can think
Is how you'll live without them
So hard to be optimistic
When you may never see them again

And the worst thing is
There is nothing you can do
They might leave without knowing
What were lies and what was true

And it might have been an accident
Or it might have been known
But either way, you can't stop it
And your mind is simply blown

All you can ask is why
And all you do is pray
And you wish to God
That things will be ok

Sometimes it works out
And other times they pass
You feel so terrible but glad
That they have met paradise at last

Hold close to the ones you love
And tell them how you feel
Because if you live in fantasy
You'll find out the hard way what's real

Don't hesitate to care
And don't hold grudges or sorrow
Because the ones you love today
Could be gone tomorrow

*I've had a couple near death experiences... not me, but people i love. It's so hard to think of what could've been, but at least those people know how much i love them. mwah to them, and don't give up on friendships... life isn't long enough.*

    lOL! I knew I spelt Rhubarb wrong when I gave you the nickname, lol!!! I liked it better this way...lol!! But Rhubarb is good too, lol.

    I realized that later that Zac led me on a bit too much. Bad boys...badddd boys! lol!!!!! AND Corey and I found out it was a prank or whatever from 1 of Zac's friends named Chelsea. :-/....I didn't laugh...I know funny....trust me, lol, and i did NOT laugh....how wude!! lol!

    Well, let's see. I guess Emma has a right to be defensive, but... still. That was a bit rude of her. I guess just stop calling, which kind of sucks. I think Zac might have led you on a bit, and his gf sort of shut it down. I wouldn't worry about it. Don't you be sorry, it's not your bad... Don't let it get to you. Boys aren't worth our time!

    We were spelling "rhubarb" wrong... hehe... oops!

    Just don't fret, love, things will work themselves out.

    lol, k, good. Cuz if I weren't on the phone, I wouldn't be mad either...of course...if Iweren't on the phone...then none of this would have happened....but I don't think I"M the one who's supposed to be sorry...am I?
