Flying Solo

*i couldn't think of a good title... If you have any idea's please let me know.*

Walking through the park, solo,
I watch all these new couples as they grow,
The man so gentle, his eyes fixated on his girl,
I can feel to each other they mean the world,
They spend time alone, just two,
I recall what it was like when we were brand new,
As I sit on the bench I stare,
Still the couple, so in love, are unaware,
She's not perfect, nobody is,
Yet in his eyes he can't imagine any other woman being his,
Hearing the giggles, seeing the smiles,
Takes me back to when this love was ours,
They spend hours talking about everything,
Telling all their secrets without worrying,
He plays lovingly with her locks of hair,
It's obvious in her heart she knows he cares,
It's unimaginable these two to ever part,
It seems as though she's deep in his heart,
Looks can deceive, lead you astray,
I've experienced this in a subtle way,
Creeping up, quiet and sly,
And slowly pulling at my guy,
He's so in love with her I can tell,
She's found a great guy, chosen well,
Maybe he chased her for months on end,
Slowly becoming her very best friend,
Stealing her heart as she trusted him more,
Neither realising what the future has in store,
Maybe he really is in love,
And he prays to always have her to the heavens above,
Or maybe it's just a mirage,
And he'll grow bored and it won't last,
As I continue to ponder,
I think of you and wonder,
Is it a mirage or is it true love?
Do you pray for me to the heavens above?
Watching this young couple, only just begun,
I hope for their sakes their future's forever as one.

"Relationships have their ups and downs, in the beginning there are many ups and as time goes on many lows, some work through them and some don't. I hope I'm one of the one's that do... but right now I'm not sure. When your guy doesn't seem to have much time to just to phone and have a quick chat or text and see how you are... is their much hope of things changing? is it just a faze all men go through or is it something that just means he doesn't love me like he says he does? If anyone has any advice please comment and let me know... I'd really appreciate it. love always. xxx"
