Holding You

by BrokenMisery   Jul 2, 2005

I want to hold you by my side
Soaking up all the tears that you have cried
From forgotten memories lost in war
Lying inside in darkened awe
Loosing yourself from photo sheets
An album gone as incomplete
My arm around you as I whisper your name
Rocking you gently when I came
Soaking up all the tears that you once cried
I am here, holding you by my side.

Beautiful poem that moved me a lot. Also the part with the photo sheets, once I thought at remembering a lost love where the two splitted and then a love which was parted by death, so that means it made me think about it all and that's a very good sign. Great write 5/5 !!!

    Keep it up
    Lots of love
