Hell At Dawn

by skye16   Jul 2, 2005

I saw it
I saw the end of the world
I saw true hell on earth
And then I woke up

I went to sleep
Thinking I woke up.
There were flames every where.
The sky was as red as blood.
I was only thinking one thing.
Where is she?
My Love

I ran, and just kept running.
Running, running, running.
I got to her house.
It was burning.
I didn't think I just ran in/
The flames hotter than hell.
I ran upstairs to her bedroom,
And she was still sleeping.
Or so I thought...

I turned her over to witness a knife,
A knife stabbed directly into her forehead.
Afterwards I turned around to witness the site of what appeared Death,
The Grim Reaper.
I woke up.

I noticed the next day,
Normal as the last.
She was there standing at my door.
She'd been waiting an hour.
I asked her to hand on.
I grabbed my coat and left with her.
She gave a kiss better than ever before.

An hour later we were at the lake.
I was staring at the sky,
She wanted to go to the shop behind us.
I didn't answer.

She asked,
"What's wrong?"

I answered,
"Nothing."
