We are so alike
yet we are so different

i love you so
and want to tell you this

i want to wipe your tears
and not let a single one fall

i want to stare into your eyes
and look at your beautiful face

i want to hold you soft loving hands
and hold you close

i want to run my hands through your hair
while you lay in my lap

i want to kiss you on the forehead
and tell you i love you

i want to be with you forever
and never let you go
