She's over you {6/30/05}

by destiny   Jul 2, 2005

You didn't know what to do when her sister told her that you liked her,
She didn't know what to do when you held her hand.
You didn't know what to do when she kissed you and it felt better,
She didn't know what to do when alone you let her stand.

She thought of you day and night,
And every other time she'd cry,
It took not so much time for her eyes to dry-
But her heart was still not all right.
She thought she was falling for other guys,
But she ended up having you in mind.

You didn't care a bit of how she felt,
And yet she still thought there was no one else-
That was as glorious as you-
She was such a fool.
She even knew this so,
But she just couldn't let go
Of what you two were together.

But now, it's such a miracle
That she's over what was a few months ago,
She doesn't hurt anymore,
And now she sees you as a friend and nothing more,
And there's no anger towards you anywhere inside of her in store.
And what's even weirder though,
Is that she is actually the one who wrote this-me.
