Spencer

He had a big heart,
and a cute little smile,
whenever you saw him,
your day was worthwhile.

He was taken away to the heavens above
to be by god's side and share his love.
Just cause he's gone,
doesn't mean we wont live on
cause i know hes looking down on us
telling us to be strong.

He doesn't understand why we all cry
but one day he'll realize,
and we'll hold our heads up high.

I know in my heart that hes watching me
telling me that he loves me
and hopes I'll see.

I can't wait to meet him
at those golden gates
when i get older
and see his sweet shining face.

His birthday's today, he would of been five,
if god didn't take him,and float him to the sky.
Every night I ask god, to keep my family safe,
and to make sure Spencer,
is in a happy go lucky place.

I will wish on till my
wish comes true,
when i can forever be with
my baby brother thats true.

(this poem was written for my friend Skyler, her brother Spencer is the one who passed away, so i kinda wrote it as if she was writing it.) (i wrote it on his 5th birthday which was.... march 5th 2004)
