Until Her Last Breath

She fell asleep one night
she was cold to the bone
she opened her eyes the next day
and saw she was alone

she went through the day
wearing a fake smile
and she thought if she kept it up
this would all be worthwhile

she got home and locked the door
took a deep breath and cried
she couldn't take it anymore
those tears she couldn't hide

she went up the roof
and put her fears aside
stepped back because what scared her
all she wished for was that she died

she went back in her room
and thought she felt safe at last
but then took out a knife
she just couldn't get over the past

closed her eyes
and then again took a deep breath
the blade acted as the problems she had
she wanted to die a painful death

no one knew what had happened
no one called her for days
until the love of her life found her
the guy that loved her in many ways

what sucked was that she never knew
the guy she loved loved her back
she would die for him
and this he knew was a fact

so she dies without her happiness
she died a painful death
but she loved him so much
until her last breath
