Troubles of an average teen

by *One wish*   Jul 3, 2005

Troubles of an average teen.

I'm just an average girl
With my dreams and hopes
My troubles torment me day and night
When will they stop?

So many unresolved questions
But I guess, it's just the troubles of an average teen
Always wondering, pondering
Never answered

When will I know what's right for me?
How long will this take?
The troubles of an average teen
Are the least of my problems

Self consciousness, broken hearts,
Are only the beginning of my problems
I search and question
But I'm never answer

What will I become?
I look beyond my life and into my future
And I see nothing
A blank canvas

Wide open to paint on
And that gives me hope
The hope of a new tomorrow

The troubles of an average teen
Are only the beginning of my journey
Through life, my troubles will fade
And new ones will appear

But there's hope
That blank canvas gives me a burst of hope
That will get me through my troubles
Through time my canvas will be filled

With vibrant colors
My life dreams will be fulfilled
My hope and dreams will rise
The troubles of an average teen will be behind

(Please comment and rate, that would be great if you could and I think this is one of the most meaningful of my poems that I can really relate to anyways Please comment and rate)
