Place Called Self Harm

by Samantha Jayneee   Jul 3, 2005

*sorry it's short*

The old world I knew has faded away,
Now something different I see everyday.

Each morning I wake seems worse than the last,
Different from my home where I lived in the past.

What is a smile?
What is a friend?
What is a heart and how does it mend?

Here I'm not loved and nobody cares,
Whether I dream or if I do have nightmares.

Happiness is something that I regularly lack,
And now I live here I can never get back.

This new place I live has given me cuts up my arm,
For the place where I live is a Place Called Self Harm.

This was awesome! It was short and effective, the words were so powerful! You've managed to capture the whole essence of self harm.
    Take care,
