I pretend

I put a smile on my face.
Only to hide what's beneath it.
I pretend that my life is wonderful.
Only to hide that it's just a peice of shit.
I pretend that I only have happy thoughts.
To believe that you'd have to be insane.
But you believe it.
You can't see all the pain.
You don't ever see anything.
You don't even see the tears I cry.
You think everything is okay.
That's a lie.
I hope you know I can't stand you.
I hate you yelling at me.
Your no better than anyone else.
But for some odd reason,
you think you can be!
