The Game

by Gedi   Jul 4, 2005

A boy with passion so powerful
That his heart burned.
The pain is not dull,
But there’s a lesson to be learned.
When she tells that kind of a lie,
It’s time to say good-bye.
She was full of shit,
And he knew it.
Now he cannot sedate
Even a small portion of his hate.

Hate and love,
Like a crow and a dove,
Are of different colors,
Yet they are brothers.

Life’s a game,
And no board is the same.
Some have a lot of obstacles thrown in.
Life’s a game,
And he’s in it to win.
