Young Warrior

by Gedi   Jul 4, 2005

Come young warrior, to the lands of old,
A place of which many a story has been told,
Where many a soul has been sold,
Where all were strong, and all were bold,
To the world whose veins now run cold.

Now I will speak of the evil one,
The one who blocked the light from the sun,
Attacked our beautiful land,
And left it mostly as ash and sand.

The beast came and went,
From the Devil it was surely sent,
At its jaws many brave men died,
As their wives sadly cried.

Our town is broken and burned,
I fear the beast has now returned,
Come brave warrior, you must fight!
Kill the monster before you catch its sight!

A wall of fire guards your path,
And after it lies a molten rock bath,
The monster has eyes which burn deep,
But your courage, you must keep.

Can you hear the screams of pain?
It’s enough to drive a young warrior insane.
Come young warrior, our village is crying,
Save our lives or die trying!
