Take your parents’ loving hands
And go willingly to the pool.
The water is soothing and cool
To save you from the scorching heat.
“Don’t you feel safe in the protected bath?
But never leave,
For the goat always drools.â€
Rain falls and the waters mix.
Those who loved now hate
As this pool becomes the ocean.
“This is because you believed in fate.â€
The current pulls you away
And the waves keep your parents at bay.
All alone with this murky water.
The goat with the eye of fire watches.
Call for your beloved chlorine!
But once it’s gone it wont return
Except to condemn.
The water freezes
And gone are the warm breezes.
The rainwater did this!
But what if there had been no chlorine?
Suddenly the sun is warm and inviting
Maybe it will save you from the ice’s sting.
Oh how the goat laughs!
The dove will do the damning deed.
One peck and that which was frozen shatters.
But the shards cut deep
And that’s all that matters.
You try to scream,
But choke on your own vomit.
Burning acid smeared all over your head
Just because you barfed up the crap you were fed.
Only now do you realize the dove is red.
The bird attacks your eyes
And tells you not to believe lies.
You try to cry,
But the tears burn the wounds.
“Beg for forgiveness pawn!â€
It’s hard to repent
When pain is the only message sent.
The goat grins widely.
Perhaps you realize now?
He who was thought pure
Is really just a disease.
Only if you get down on broken knees
Will you get the cure.
“I am light and will show you the only wayâ€
“I am darkness and believe in gray,
Come my fallen child,
Take my hand
And lets return to the sand.â€
