Excellent poem!It could use a little tightening up ( scream is used too many times, just little things), but the rhyme scheme is excellent(and as a former zine editor and small press poet, I can tell you it is very hard to pull of a good rhyming poem,and you do).But what really hit me is the emotional impact of loss and love, and the hope...This is a very moving touching piece.Most of my published work is of the love and loss nature and I can really feel everything you are saying, I can really relate.Truly a fantastic piece.Keep writing!
