Love is war
it is very true
put up a wall
so they won't hurt you

like medieval times then
protecting your castle
you arms your heart with lead
to be sure they don't get past

not all of them are enemies to you
once in a while one come to your aid
but you don't let anyone through
since your heart's in-caged

either way it seems
closing off is better
but eventually
your heart will weather
