Suicide on a summers night

by Andrea broken tears   Jul 4, 2005

A fallen angel
with a broken halo
and no wings so she can
fly
On a warm summers night
is where a broken heart lies
in a fragile soul
this beautiful girl who's unloved
has fallen once more.
Her body is bruised, theres tears
in her eyes
she holds them back
so she can hide.
This beautiful girl
took her own life
for she was living in a life of
pain and strife.
She then became an angel
and flew up above, to watch
over the people
she loved.
That one special person
she thought cared never really
did an she was unprepared.
She thought he loved her
she thought he cared
but he was just pretending,
he was never really there.
She became this fallen angel
with no wings so she can fly.
On that warm summers night
her life of pain and strife
was ended by suicide

Very emotional write that touched my, honestly, I written just one poem about suicide yet though this is a theme as deep as you described. Because behind every suicide there's a story and I liked how you added the Fallen Angel to the story which fits so perfectly. The last 5 lines are my favourite sounding so definite and sad though it seems like a deliverance for her.
    5/5

    Keep it up

P.S. : Please, comment and vote on one of my poems that would mean so much to me. Thank you a lot.
