Not Young Anymore

by kayla   Jul 4, 2005

We're now teens
not the same as we used to be
the things we do are what we are making our futures out of

We all are judged
every move we make
every word spoken

The "loves" of our lives
will leave once again
bestfriends will be come foes
our minds will change about everything

Our childhood diminishing
right before our eyes
everything we believed in
were all lies

Long road ahead
just follow through
you will make it
and I will too

But for now we're just teens
living as we want to
having fun
chatting
dating
trying to be ourselves

To survive life as you get older
believe in yourself
and dream...BIG!
