Tears hurt more

Same words as many others, because tear more
Sitting deep in regret behind freedoms door
Tears hurt more than cutting, more than any other pain
If my love were here beside me, I could smile once again

Different sentences admittedly, but a new way to escape
With the beautiful waterfalls streaming from my eyes
Tears hurt more than burning and I cannot help myself
Curl up to protect my essence, watch me as I cry

Words with simple melody, simple self destruction
Shadows rip my skin, as I fall into oblivion and pain
Tears hurt more than self harm, I miss you very much
Cannot live without you, want to hold you close again..
