Highschool Sweethearts pt.2

She saw him,
Once in the hall,
She never knew,
How hard she’d fall,

Days went on,
She’d see him around,
She knew he liked her,
But never really understood the love she’d found,

They began talking,
He also liked her friend,
She told him not to see her,
He wouldn’t know that reason until the end,

Against her wishes,
He saw that girl,
Jealousy raged,
And that feeling truly made her want to hurl,

She tried to talk to him,
Whenever she could,
She began to fall for the boy,
Believe me, she knew she would,

She was torn within,
But somehow he always knew what to say,
The girl broken on the inside,
Never knew the pain would go away,

Night and day,
They’d both think about,
How they knew they’d someday be together,
They both knew, without a doubt,

She wished and hoped,
For days on end,
He’d come back for her,
And her heart he would tend,

Then one day, he told her,
They were done,
Her heart raced faster then ever before,
And she imagined all the fun,

She asked him out,
Late one night,
’Best thing she’s ever done’ she still states,
Even if it caused her fright,

Months went by,
Each one so much better then the last,
Who would have guessed, complete strangers,
They’d last,

Now they talk of years gone by,
She loved that boy so much,
Together forever,
I’ll say it again, she loved him, so, so much,

Thus concludes,
These lover’s fairy tale,
Never will they split,
She’ll never let them fail.
