There Once Was A Girl

by -Jay-   Jul 5, 2005

There once was a girl
So pretty-picture perfect
Her parents couldn't ask
For a child more worth it

Then she met a boy
She’ll never forget that day
The way they met,
How he took her breath away.

They quickly became
The best of friends,
But she wanted more
And that’s where it ends

He liked another girl
Another picture perfect child
Her heart fell to pieces
And her mind went wild

She didn't know what to think
Or who she could now trust
She couldn't up her mind,
If it was true love, or true lust.

“It just hurts so much
To know he doesn’t feel the same”
But girl after girl he liked
He felt no valid shame.

Parties every weekend
Drinking all the time
Her perfect picture gone
But to her, love has no crime

There once was a girl
So pretty- picture perfect
She met a guy that changed her life
But never thought it wasn’t worth it

**Please Vote, i wrote it for a friend and she really wants to know what everyone thinks! Thanks!! **
